| Note: | Appears to have improved some from this morning as far as runoff from SV and NV activity. Observed "pooling" in the SV and continuous (more than a trickle) runoff at the bridge for first time. Trough at bottom of SV runoff remains full of gravel. NV 25-30+ feet with regular vertical play. SV still not putting out water as it did previous to past eruptions. 1857, first big concerted, sustained (5+ sec) minor, seen by this writer, that put a substantial amount of water, down SV runoff. (quiet babbling brook).1900 fair runoff from SV pushing gravel down runoff. 1949, NV continues to have percussive, vertical minors, 25-30+ ft, seldom in concert with SV. No further strong pushes down SV runoff. Cistern is vigorously boiling 6-8" at middle of pool, barely overflowing on east side of pool |
