| Note: | Steamboat continues! according to a Ranger I talked with on the boardwalk Steamboat restarted sometime Sunday afternoon and continues to throw water 70+ feet from North vent. Cistern has receded to just a small pool of water in the bottom of it's pool. sure wish I could add a photo here! VR told me Cistern is MUCH lower today than yesterday morning at this same time! South is cycling from water 20 - 30 feet to steam. This looks VERY similar to what we observed on Saturday 5/5/18. Go Steamboat! |
