Since no apparent activity was occurring I left for lunch at about 12:50, returned at 1:55 to find Valentine in post-eruptive steam phase with markers gone (visitor said “you just missed it”) and Ledge in the heavy water stage {I may have seen the tail end of the pool draining} Water from the 3 lesser vents stopped about 2:15, seemed to be decreasing from the 2 main vents about 2:50. |
