Major eruption of Vixen seen in progress at 1600. Water in its runoff channel had almost reached the trail down by the creek. Estimated duration was 6 minutes after which it drained and paused for about 20 seconds and played continuous again for approximately 3 minutes. It then paused for around 20 seconds and again resumed continuous play for 2 minutes. 20-30 feet was the most common maximum height.
