| Note: | Opel Pool: large upwelling of steam but no water as seen from Freight Road. Observed for nearly 30 mins but no further activity besides low steaming. 1550-1615: from boardwalk, pool overflowing with slight amount of convection near center. Lazy steam, no bubbles and no obvious sign of recent eruption. Orange yellow mats surrounding crater. Addendum: Curiously, I was unable to find Opal (or Opel) listed on the Geysertimes ios mobile app - corrected entry on my laptop. |
