| Note: | Boiling continues at various points along the edge closest to the boardwalk. Some streams of bubbles are fist-sized. Still seeing intermittent fist-sized bubbles from the center as well and some nice welling up of water. No small microbe chunks seen at all on this visit. The bottom is not clearly visible due to turbidity of the water. The area above abyss (across from the spur part of the boardwalk) still has three of five vents showing boiling water, but the water levels there don't look any higher than it was on August 4, 2024. |
