| Note: | 09/03/1978 - Ledge did it again! While everyone was sleeping. This morning there was considerable steam in Porcelain Basin. A check of Ledge Geyser at 9:00 showed it to be in a sloppy steam phase – i.e. walking below Ledge I became quite wet. Markers of red sand that I placed in the runoff channel yesterday were washed away. The interval from the last was approximately 3 days. Checking Ledge yesterday there was not any water in the pool or splashing from the vents. |
