| Note: | Congress pool is no longer a mud pot….It is slightly murky blue-green colored water. A gentle bubbling in the middle. The pool is now approximately 20 feet across. It is filled so high that it is slightly overflowing into the Solfatara area. Gentle runoff channel can be seen going all the way into Colloidal pool. Wildly different from even just 3 weeks ago. I noticed this last week that it was full but it was too steamy to tell the details. It is now very clear and obvious that this feature has changed drastically from what we saw since April this year. |
