| Note: | May 17 1983 Steamboat- I started observing at 2013. Most eruptions were out of the north vent only. Only occasionally would the south vent join in. It seemed that collectively there was a bit more activity out of Steamboat, because the north vent did splash often. Indeed more often than either vent 2 days ago. In my 20 minutes of observing, I saw one large blast out of both vents. It was not as big as those in preceding days. |
