| Note: | May 13 1983 - no time noted - Steamboat – After yesterday’s encouraging behavior, Steamboat seems to be low on water. While the eruptions are perhaps more frequent, the water jets are far less substantial. I thought I was seeing one of those local disturbances in which Steamboat’s water supply dries up and Echinus begins to have minors preceding its major eruptions. Echinus was undisturbed though. I saw one normal eruption lasting 7m24s. |
