| Note: | 3/03/01 Basinwide disturbance is going on. Whirligig had one eruption between 0800 & 1630. Constant had a 7 burst eruption at 1139. Pinto had a 22min eruption..1218. Arsenic 16m w heights around 15-20 feet @ 1240. Colloidal pool is muddy. Black Growler temp is down to 92.9C. It has built about an 8 ft ice cornice at the north side. In Back Basin Steamboat {no time noted} is toast (typical during a disturbance). Cistern is down and a little muddy. Saw a Veteran eruption that I estimated at 40 feet high and reaching out 50-60ft! That occurred at 1522 and last 4m41s. Vixen@ 1515 for 3min. Pearl Geyser is full and erupting. The small geyser east of Bastille Geyser was in highpressure steam with a vent temp of 106C! Son of Green Dragon is muddy & splashing. Yellow Funnel is down to the base of the “funnel” and splashing dark mud 6-10 ft. Hydrophane Spring is empty!.... |
