| Note: | 5/21/2012 Guardian appeared to undergo an eruptive cycle of some kind. Approx. 1815, only a wisp of steam rose from the vent. About 15 minutes later, steam and spray was forcefully jetting ~ 10 feet into the air from the vent. {note to future researchers - logbook said Black Growler - there was lots confusion this year since Guardian was in a high powered steam phase and they thought it was Black Growler until later in the summer - mab} |
