Note:no time noted - possible eruption July 9 to 10 ft for 10m22s - Annual report states July 6 and July 26 for two seen eruptions about the same height and duration - full text below: Annual Report: Tantalus Geyser- - Tantalus Geyser was seen in eruption twice this season. The first time was just after the earthquake activity in early July. (are we seeing a pattern here???) It was observed erupting from four separate vents to a height of approximately 15 feet. This lasted about eight minutes. The second time was July 26th. This time also there was four vents reaching near 15 feet. This eruption was timed at 9 minutes 14 seconds. After the disturbance effect had subsided, Tantalus was very quiet with only a slight boil over two vents. = = 1995 Nomenclature document: Tantalus Geyser was not seen in eruption until July 6, 1995. During a period of seismic activity near Madison Junction, Tantalus was observed to be erupting from four vents to a height of 10-15 feet. This activity lasted approximately seven minutes. Tantalus Geyser remained with active boiling from these four vents for several days. On July 9, 1995, Tantalus erupted again from four vents to a height of 10-15 feet. This activity was observed for 10 minutes 22 seconds. There was light boiling over these four vents until the onset of disturbance activity in late July. At that time, the boiling decreased over three vents and ceased over the fourth.
