Note: | As I was passing through Fountain flats, a gigantic tour bus (whom I had been following for a couple miles) decided to suddenly come to a complete stop in the middle of the icy road, just after a blind turn, right at the bottom of a steep hill (where, you know, usually you try to speed up to maintain momentum up the icy hill) to look at a couple bison off the side of the road. I had to slam on my brakes to slow down in time not to hit him (took a good distance to stop) and I was worried someone easily could come around the corner and slam into me, slam into the bison, or slide off the road. As it was we were both able to get up the hill, but I was wondering if he was gonna slide off. Probably the dumbest driver I've encountered this year. [Edit] I'm totally fine - not quite as big of a deal as everybody seems to be making it out to be, just frustratingly dumb. Dumb enough and comical enough to be noteworthy. |
