Note: | 3D 13H post eruptive. I spent a hour at SB in between rain storms. Minors are mostly angled. A few are concerted. All lack height, energy and water. One "meh" concerted minor @ 1217 had a weak babbling brook but, it failed to move any of the debris that had gathered in low depressions, further down the channel. The trough has no accumulation of debris from the previous eruption yet. Typically strong SV minors will move small rocks and sinter bits from the previous eruption down the channel and they lodge at the base of the runoff channel in the trough. Stronger minors will move these bit closer to the channel directly infront of the foot bridge at Steerage. (where the big rock used to be) At this point I dont see any evidence of significant SV minors based on all the debris still on the channel and nothing in the trough has changed since Sunday evening. Cistern Spring is the same as yesterday. |
