| Note: | No eruption as of 2027. Lots of booming sounds from North vent early this morning. We had strong concerted minors at 0606, 0750, then ~15 minute lull followed by strong minors at 0834 and 0836. From 1029 to 1126 we had frequent minors, many concerted, sustained and upright. Water levels were good with both north and south vents participating. From ~1320 to ~1515 we were in a lull with very brief, weak minors or vents producing short spritz of water. Minors resumed, but seemed to lack energy to be sustained with a few exceptions. Rain, thunder, and lightning plagued us mid afternoon and into the evening. I didn't feel a major was imminent and more bad weather was on the way. I left Norris at 2027. |
