| Note: | During our Steam and Stars tour, our snow coach was approached by a wolf while we were parked and out of the coach on Fountain Flats (at pull off past Lone Tree). Wolf stopped and looked at us and once we were back in the coach it ran past our coach. We followed in snowcoach in the direction the wolf went (towards Madison) and saw 2-3 others running into woods. Stopped to look at tracks and then proceeded a short distance and again saw the wolves on edge of woods. Yes, this really happened!! |
