| Comments: | MAJOR ERUPTION About 9:30 pm No one was at the geyser when it started. The roar was heard at Sedam’s & Lewises who left for the geyser immediately. Simultaneously a carload of campers from Norris campground arrived. They eruptions could be seen & heard from the campground they reported. Within an hour 100 visitors were witnessing and eruption by full moon light. The water phase was apparently short. Most of the water went down the trail. Cistern’s boiling was almost stopped. |
