Comments: | Due to the amount of steam and darkness the maximum height from the main vent ~NW “thumb”~ could not be determined. The next vent SE from it -the “index finger”- had a maximum height during the first 20 minutes of the eruption of approximately {not a typo this sentence ends this way} the southeastern-most vent “the little finger- played in a fountain like manner for a height of about 50-60 feet. At 11:30 a very heavy mist from Ledge was able to dampen the parking lot! |
