Comments: | “South Sprinkler Geyser” - unnamed geyser (UNNG) located 11-12 meters due south of the Sprinkler Geyser complex (Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin); UNNG is apparently = vent 48 of Wolf & Paperiello, 1989 (Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups); vent is at 44° 33’ 14.87” North latitude, 110° 48’ 39.63” West longitude. Low to moderately low, ~0.5m duration eruptions at 1448, 1459, late 1509 to 1510, 1605, 1624 to 1625, 1633, 1642 to 1643, 1652 to 1653, 1739, 1748 to 1749, ~earliest 1757 to just after mid-1757 (30-40s duration), 1807 to early 1808. Observed closed intervals: 11m, 10m, 9m, 9m, 10m, 9m, 9m, 10m. |
