| Comments: | Labial's East Satellite Vent erupted from 1730-1740. Labial's West Satellite Vent erupted in a manner I have never before observed. It started at 1731. Instead of being a thin jet angled to the east, the vent erupted as a thick column perhaps 2 feet in diameter with a height of 8-10 feet for the first 3 minutes of the eruption. Then it reverted to its typical thin angled jet for the remaining minute of its eruption. |
