| Comments: | Closed interval of 13 minutes, 15 seconds since the last minor eruption. Western vent engaged in frequent, intermittent splashing during entire interval (1817 to 1826). At 1827, splashing became larger and more frequent. Major eruption started at 1827 + ~18 s. First steam phase at late 1830. Water phase from western vent resumed at early 1833. Forced steam emissions only from both vents at 1838 on. Both vents steaming quietly at 1847 - the eastern vent was passively steaming & the western vent had slightly forced steaming. At 1901, both vents were passively steaming. |
