| Comments: | There were no events preceding the eruption. Angle never quit after previous cycle, River and Gold on at 1210, water levels nonexistent at 1220. East Vent was steaming heavily around this time in the cycle. High Vent began to erupt steadily to 2 feet 16 minutes after the start of River. The minor vents went into lock 17 minutes after River and the eruption started with East Vent 20 minutes after River. Good thing most were nearby. The conditions were nearly perfect. |
