Comments: | upon arrival it is LOW - also with a south wind doubt anything will reach the logger - Edit added later: Eruptions were getting lower but still full water and I saw the Transition to low pool Nozzle Eruption exactly at 1144! Some very thin tall streams, then variable play with more water, less water, more steam, thin steady streams, etc all with a strong SW wind. I left it still IE in constant firehose play until it was out of sight past Yellow Funnel @1348. If I didn't have to leave to Bozeman I would have stayed til 1700 to see if it might be shorter duration and swap back to water eruptions as we have seen a few times, but had to go. I will study the video later for a description of the Transition. Fun Closing Day to be right there and SEE the exact moment of change! |
