| Comments: | Traditional start—surface of pool becomes frothy with sizzling bubbles covering the surface, steam caused by hot water flooding the platform starts around the platform, one 3-foot surge of water, then the column lifts. One brief pause in water prior to sudden cessation of all activity, both water and steam. Forced steam (not accompanied by sound) resumed about four minutes later; lasted only about two minutes. Light, rolling steam occurred from 0640 to 0650. Then turned to wispy steam.
