0639: edge vent has begun participating in rolling boil in addition to center. Runoff down main channel continues to increase
0645: strong runoff down main channel. Runoff catch basins were disconnected upon arrival. Now one steady stream
0651: rapid increase in rolling boil and upwelling activity from now 3 spots
0653: strong real boil about the diameter of a bowling ball now
0655: eruption!! Flood rose rapidly. In about 20 seconds.
0656: rapid drain with heavy boil over eruptive vent
0703: boiling subsided. Pool level remains low. Will check again after walkabout |
