Comments: | Spatter Geyser, UGB (44°27'52.9"N 110°50'07.9"W based on Google Maps and Geysers of Yellowstone). From footage timestamps: first splash 1139:20, continuous activity beginning 1139:54. Also observed a peripheral vent to the NW steaming along - it began after the first splash and continued to increase in intensity until continuous activity commenced. It declined after the eruption had ended. No steam at all by late 1142. |
