Comments: | From a Bryan (April 1977) report: "Penta seemed to have a marked paucity of water available for the eruption. Spasmodic Geyser was at lower water levels. Sawmill was in full eruption. Without filling and overflowing, Penta began a weak, steamy eruption. There was never in the course of the 10 minutes of play any surface runoff stream. The total discharge was really quite negligible. The jet was a fine spray of liquid and large amounts of steam, nearly all of which was wafted away by the breeze. The maximum height was not over 10 feet." |
