UM spritz 1134. Levels remained high in BV/LM, but no full BV eruption. R 1142 to end G pause (d=12m). G 1144, water levels very good. MV huffs at 1150 that turned off G but not R. G back on 1152 and water levels again very good. A 1154. Water levels initially dropped. From 1157-1203 levels very good to excellent. Lock 1203. UM began having surges about this time. They gradually built in size/frequency for the next 8 min. Fan fell out of lock about 1206. UM then started surging strongly. There were 3 surges over the cone, all about 30 seconds apart. Levels in Fan started to come back, but then died completely as UM had its strongest surges. Last surge at 1211 sustained for 20 seconds before Lower, East, and then Main took off in rapid succession. |
