| Comments: | "I arrived at F&M just after noon Oct. 28 1997. Rivervent turned on from a low water level at 1216. Gold turned on at 1217 Angle at 1224. Spiteful erupted from full pool at 1228. Rivervent turned off at 1256. Rivervent Gold and Angle all turned on weakly for 2 or 3 minutes from very low water levels at 1308. Main vent began hard boiling at about 1320. Visible splashing in Main vent started about 1325. Bottom {Arch} vent erupted at 1328 for [6.5] minutes. Rivervent turned on at 1339 Gold at 1345 Angle at 1351. Gold was on for 15 minutes before the activity became more than moderately good. At 1404 High reached 6 to 10 feet. The eruption began at 1406. Fan & Mortar both erupted with about typical strength. The short activity from Rivervent Gold and Angle at 1308 seemed more an after effect of the Spiteful eruption than pause like activity. This short activity was only 12 minutes after the previous cycle 10 minutes before Main vent began hard boiling and 27 minutes before the next cycle."
