Comments: | As reported by David Leeking in the Aug 1995 Sput "I [got] a credible visitor's report that Splendid had been observed at 18:40ie on 13 June. The observer was familiar with the major geysers from previous visits and said that her party had seen Daisy at 18:30. They then left heading for Punch Bowl Spring. At 18:40 they glanced back and saw Splendid erupting above the trees. The Daisy eruption time fits well into the ~110 minute intervals it was having that day. The [last known observation of Daisy] was at 14:50 while Mary Beth Schwarz saw Daisy again at 21:06. That post-Splendid Daisy interval would be about 10 minutes longer than those of the past few years." |
