| Comments: | Based on David Shepard's note posted at 1110 on 2/7: "Giant erupted sometime after 4:30 PM on 2/6. Heavy crust on snow near Path SE of walkway; Giant sign out of place".
Updated by later comment: " Upon further observation there is thin layer of snow on the crust the equivalent depth of the amount of snow that fell last night. Snow started around 7 PM so I believe eruption actually occurred on the early evening of 2/6. We left Giant at about 4:30 PM on 2/6 and there had been no eruption."
